For most homeowners, yes. Frameless glass is easier to clean, makes the bathroom feel larger and is an upgrade buyers notice. If budget is the priority, a semi-frameless or sliding door gives a modern look for less.
Quotes differ on glass thickness, hardware quality, what is included and who installs. Compare quotes on the same glass, finish and layout, and confirm the installer is licensed and insured.
Frameless uses minimal or no metal framing for a clean, glass-forward look. Semi-frameless includes a slim metal frame on some edges for added support at a lower price point.
We install 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch tempered safety glass, sized to the enclosure's height and design.
Clear, grey and bronze tints, acid-etched (frosted) and rain glass. Clear is the most popular; etched and rain glass add privacy.
Polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, oil-rubbed bronze and gold tones. We match hinges and handles to your fixtures.
Choose a sliding door when space is tight or for a tub. Choose a hinged door for the widest entry and the most open look. Compare sliding and hinged.

Clear the bathroom counters and the path to the shower, and make sure tile and grout work is finished. We take care of the rest.
Squeegee the glass after each shower and wipe it weekly with a non-abrasive glass cleaner. This keeps soap scum and mineral spots from building up.
Use a vinegar-and-water solution or a cleaner made for hard water, let it sit a few minutes, then wipe and rinse. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemicals that can scratch glass or damage hardware finishes.
Leaks usually come from a worn bottom sweep, a missing or damaged side seal, or a door that has shifted out of alignment. Most are fixed by replacing the seal or sweep, or adjusting the hinges. Call us if you are not sure.
